The deadline for submission of the mandatory School Resource Management self-assessment tool for Academy Trusts is very close. By 14 November, each Academy Trust should have sent this completed return to the ESFA. While online guidance in October is promised, the completion of this analysis comes at a busy time for Trust finance teams.
There are specified requirements at both Trust and individual school levels:
- Checklists for Trusts to cover budget setting, financial strategies and governance to form the basis of an Action Plan
- Dashboards for individual schools covering detailed financial comparators and analysis
