Preparing for Ofsted Inspection

When leaders are secure in what Ofsted inspectors are looking for, school improvements can be planned and work smoothy. During this Ofsted inspection course, we will identify the new changes within the framework and explains how to develop good practice during inspections.

drb Schools and Academies Services are experts in working within the education sector, acting as your trusted adviser with children and young people at the heart of what we do. This course will explore areas around preparing for your Ofsted Inspection; such as, the preparation for meetings, documentation and data analysis can make the inspection process clearer.

We’ll make sure that you know the key elements in the new updated Ofsted framework and understand how this relates to your own school context. We want to make sure everything runs smoothly.

Benefits of attending include:

  • understanding what has changed
  • what to expect in the telephone call
  • an insight into what a deep dive will mean
  • knowing how an inspection may look at behaviour and attitudes, personal development and leadership and management
  • hearing from those who have experienced the new inspection first hand

Who should attend:

  • Headteachers
  • Principals
  • Senior Leaders
  • Governors and/or Trustees
