Understanding the new Ofsted framework (BCFC)
Join Andrew Pilmore for an in-depth exploration of the new Ofsted Framework. Over the day, you will spend time exploring:
- the implications of the new gradings for your school: what does ‘expected standard’ look like for each category and where does your school sit within these new gradings;
- your school SEF – does this provide a concise evaluation of your school and is it a strong document which you can share with inspectors?
- how to prepare for case sampling: what information Ofsted will gather from this to support their judgements;
- how context may influence judgements;
- what this means in terms of practice in school and preparation for an inspection.
