Governance reviews provide an objective assessment of governance effectiveness, helping boards enhance performance, strengthen accountability, and drive continuous improvement. We now offer this service.
What our Governance Review includes:
- Stakeholder consultation and governance observation: meetings with the Headteacher and Chair of Governors, plus observation of a governing board meeting.
- Governance review and compliance check: analysis of key documentation, including the school website, board minutes, policies, and governance structures.
- Independent evaluation and recommendations: an objective assessment of governance effectiveness, identifying strengths, areas for development, and practical next steps.
- Detailed written report: a clear summary of findings, recommendations, and actions to strengthen governance and board effectiveness.
Cost: £1750 (+ VAT) for a single maintained school or single Academy Trust.
(Larger Trust reviews will be priced separately).
