Understanding the New Ofsted Toolkit

What Every Teacher and TA Needs to Know

Is your school likely to have an Ofsted visit in the next academic year? Do your staff have a clear understanding of the new Ofsted toolkit, its implications on Teaching and Learning and their role during an inspection?

We can provide a practical training programme which develops staff understanding of their role in an inspection, along with a focus on high-quality adaptive teaching and effective scaffolding

The training will explore:

  • key features of the new Ofsted Toolkit and inspection expectations;
  • what inspectors are looking for in classrooms and across the school;
  • the difference between adaption and differentiation;
  • practical strategies for adaption teaching;
  • effective scaffolding: when to use it, how to use it and when it is not needed.

This training is available as: A full day INSET training session or three staff meeting sessions. (location permitting) Cost: £550 (+VAT)
