GDPR Compliance Officer Training | March 2018
From May 2018, the ICO recommends a designated position in the absence of a data protection officer. So whilst you are deciding on the best approach to follow, regarding the appoint or outsourcing of a DPO, it is strongly advised to have a person to begin your journey. This course is designed to enable that individual to assist the school in beginning the journey to a privacy culture.
Benefits of attending:
✔ Understanding the new privacy law (GDPR) and its possible implications
✔ Outlining the whole school responsibilities of the Data Protection Officer (DPO)
✔ Compulsory documentation required for May 2018
✔ Hands-on workshop activities to get you ready
✔ Dealing with Data Processors (DP’s) contracted to the school
✔ Overview of the record of compliance (including creating a school compliance record)
✔ Take away tested resource kits and a certificate of training for your own CPD records.
Who should attend:
✔ SBM / Office Manager
✔ Deputy Head
✔ Data Protection Compliance Officer in your school
